The sky is falling, the sky is falling… so says some of “Cowboy nation”. Ok, y’all need to take a chill pill. The Dallas Cowboys have just lost their first game in 14 weeks and peeps wants to put Anthony back into the game. History tells us that Anthony has NOT been to the Super Bowl and neither has 2/3 of the quarterbacks who are currently playing in the league. See for yourself, the picture below lists the top 25 QB’s based on total yards passing. Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, and Joe Flacco have all won the big game. And, that list does not include, “The Man”, “The Master”, Tom Brady who has won 3 Super Bowls. Dak Prescott has done wonders in his first year at QB, so cut him some slack. Coach Ginger and his staff need to coach him up and coach him up fast. Dallas lost to NY because Dallas was out coached!
So “Cowboy fan” wants Tony Romo to go back in and do what, get injured? Look I love Tony Romo, but he is old and fragile. And he has had his chance, back in 2014, he went all 12-4 during the regular season and then lost on the road at Green Bay.
Dak needs the experience. He needs to learn how it feels to be in big games and how to over come adversity. And to be fair, his teammates have to help him. Dez has to secure the ball, run good routes and the defense has to take those turnovers. Tom Brady in his first year as a starter, had a horrible game at Cleveland. He went 19 of 28 with 2 INTS for a rating of 61.3 and he won the Super Bowl that year. Cowboy fan needs to relax. Dallas needed to lose a game and this was a good one to lose. Cowboys lost in week 15 in 1992 and went on to win the Super Bowl….so have some faith Cowboy fan and Go Dallas Cowboys!
